Custom Perfumes

All custom perfumes are made to order - please allow for extra processing time for research. Each perfume oil will come in a 10ml essential oil type bottle,

Our perfume blends are a combination of essential oils, fragrances oils, and perfuming aroma chemicals. This is our currently availability

• 10ml perfume oil in jojoba oil base with crystal chips
  
• 1 oz eau du parfum spray
  
• 2 oz eau du parfum spray

*We are working on providing a list of essential oils, fragrance oils,, and aroma chemicals that we usually have on hand most of the time* Please inquire if you are looking for something specific.

How to Order

We will require one of the following for all custom perfumes

1. A general theme like a perfume based on correspondences for Aphrodite or just a general perfume for Aphrodite or an intention like Love Drawing Perfume
2. list of specific notes i.e. Patchouli, Jasmine, Bergamot, Leather, Peach
3. general aromatic notes like a spicy exotic floral with hints of citrus
4. Optional: you can include a name for the fragrance like Jennifer's perfume and if you would like a specific label image you can send that to us as well

Regarding Fragrance Notes

If you are providing fragrance notes or specific fragrances you would like in the perfume: Please message us before purchasing to ensure we have those notes or fragrances on hand or adequate substitutions. We have hundreds of essential oils, fragrance oils, and aromatic chemicals, but it is not feasible to have every possible note on hand especially if its not something we will use otherwise. The cost of purchasing additional materials for aromas that we do not currently use in other products is not always feasible due to cost.

Regarding Number of Fragrance Notes

Please note for the perfume oils to limit any suggestions to 10 fragrance notes or less. This is to safely even out the ratio of fragrance with the jojoba oil. For instance,  a perfume oil in a 10ml bottle should have a combined 35 drops (combined of all aromatic ingredients) give or take. This means if you select 20 notes it is going to be hard to keep it within safe dilution standards meaning some would have one drop and be barely noticeable.  There is more wiggle room for the 1 ounce or 2 ounce eau du parfum sprays, but would still keep it to less is more. 

How to Build a Perfume

Perfumes are structured by top notes, middle notes, and base notes. They can be distributed in numerous ways, however something that is mostly top notes (think like citrus or mint) will burn off much faster. The middle notes give it more weight in the mid range (these can vary through a lot of florals and herbaceous notes. Base notes are usually very heavy fragrances like resins, some of the heavy exotic florals, and some spicy and woody likes like Jasmine, Vanilla, Patchouli, Dragons Blood. 

Custom Product Order Policies

1. Please note that all custom product orders MUST have details included either in a checkout note or by messaging us at belladonnasbotanicals@gmail.com or via platform specific messaging systems within 24 hours of the order.

2. All custom items missing any details will be canceled and refunded after the 24 hour window. I do not have the time to chase people down for days especially when correspondences go unanswered. This slows up the process immensely.

3. All custom products have a turn around time of 7-10 days.

4. No refunds or returns unless product is damaged or lost during shipping. No exceptions.

5. If you are placing orders for multiple items AND custom items, we suggest possibly creating two separate orders if you need the other items faster.
