I’m trying a new thing. It’s a new business thing. It’s called me prioritizing my health over the business. Normally, I would have shuffled out of bed and started working this morning.
however, I am in a lot of pain because I had bilateral Cortisone epidural injections in my lumbar sacral spine on yesterday.
I was already in a pain flare so I now have a mild acute spinal headache - they are common after injections, more common for CSF leaks after lumbar punctures in most cases, and some injection site pain and on top of that I’m having the usual steroid side effects because they join up with my sensory processing issues, my autoimmune flares, and perimenopausal temperature fluctuations.
So I took some meds and am intermittently laying in bed until I feel better. I got the orders ready to go out that were due today.
I am taking it easy for the rest of the day instead of pushing through and making it worse. This will be my new business model going forward.
