Dispatches from the Abyss 1/22/2026

More snow on the way and if you live in Pennsylvania you know that means anytime between now and never with accumulations of nothing to ice age levels of snow. In any case, I am working on get all orders out that would need to go out on Monday and Tuesday just in case.

I may not have time to do rituals every day, but I talk to the universe, my higher self, my spirits, and ancestors at night as part of my night time routine, which I suppose is a ritual of sorts. It reminded me of when I was a very young child that I would pray at night. One of my prayers was a blessing unto all of our family members and pets of course. I don't know why I remembered that, but even as a child I was sending blessings and healings to those around me.

Personally speaking, I need to get better at my morning and evening routines. I used to have a solid practice of doing self Reiki, meditating, and communing with spirits. Things got too chaotic in the universe and my mind is unquiet all the time. So I keep going. I keep moving. If I stop, its just too much sometimes. I never really know where to start when I start writing there or where I will end up.

How do you quiet your mind when surrounded by chaos? You don't. You do your best to get through the moment. Sometimes its screaming inside, sometimes its memories, sometimes its feelings, and occasional moments of quiet reflection.

I figured that I would keep it short today, but the message is here is that trying is doing. If you can only meditate for 5 minutes you have meditated. Some days you can meditate for hours and others the mind is just a jumble of distractions.

Thanks for reading,
