It’s a snowy day in Pennsylvania so I’m writing today’s dispatch.
I’ve been thinking about how simply flummoxed I am by how effing dumb this dystopic fall of America is and the state of the world. I did not have the threat of the invasion of Greenland by America being a viable catalyst for World War III. To that end, I firmly stand with Denmark and their allies.
It’s all just so dumb, so unbelievably and unfathomably insultingly stupid. In all the scenarios of how this would unfold, i had not anticipated our downfall would be stupid people.
I’m not being an elitist snob here. I’m not talking about educational access. I’m talking about wanton and willful malignant ignorance. This is our downfall.
In America, what we are seeing is the collapse of the space between the Bush II era and the “no child left behind” and the STEM push in the education. What’s missing in that scenario? We lost the humanities and our humanity in the process. I feel like I say that a lot, but I digress.
I came up on dystopic cyber punk literature like Snow crash, Neuromancer, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, et. al. and they did not prepare me for how stupid the collapse would be. The cyber truck is like the Temu Deliverator and I will throw hands with anyone over that lol 😂
But, the dummies are winning. We are smarter than that. Now we are left to fill in the missing pieces to fill in the knowledge gap and do better and survive.
